Sportive UK
SportiveUK have come up with the perfect way for you to get your last big bike ride on the clock. Whether it’s the Long 100 or the short 40, there’s something for everyone looking to keep those legs moving. Don’t fancy the full Essex 100 loop? There’s the medium distance of 70 miles that will take you as far as Finchingfield, you’ll be able to tuck into the home made flapjacks, cheeses and crackers. There’s even a fun 15 if you’re not quite up to the 40.
Kit List
There is a mechanic and drink stops on route where you can refill your bottles and tuck into some food to keep you going. You should however bring spare food and drink as the route is rural and may not be near shops.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory. Failing to do so will result in refused entry.
