Regency 10k route

Royal Leamington Spa, known for its Regency architecture and broad boulevards, is also host to this iconic 10km event, which sees thousands of runners take to the streets and bridlepaths in a day of running fun.

Join runners from all walks of life to traverse through the town and surrounding parks, showcasing all the best the Royal Leamington Spa has to offer. The course will be run primarily on closed roads and well-groomed bridle paths, making it a safe and fast course if you're gunning for that new PB.

The race will start in Newbold Terrace East, through the picturesque Victoria Park and Jephson Gardens before hitting the home straight at Mill Gardens, crossing the finish line to the thundering cheers from the large crowd of spectators.

Raceday Logistics

Packet pickup: Race packets will be mailed to runners 1-2 weeks before the event. For entries after Monday, 23 March, please collect your race number and timing chip from 7.30am at Race HQ desk on the day. Desk closes 8.15am.

Schedule:

07:30: Registration desk opens for late entrants (after March 23)

08:00: Runners gather at Newbold Terrace East in Royal Leamington Spa

08:15: Registration desk closes

08:45: Warm-up commences - start to line up in your expected finish time areas

09:00: Race Starts

09:35: First runners start to arrive at finish line - medals presented as runners finish

10:30: Prize giving

Please arrive at least 30-60 minutes before race time to ensure plenty of time for parking and warmup.

Age Limits:

The minimum age for this race is 15 years of age to participate.

Toilets:

There will be temporary toilets adjacent to the start and finish lines.

Bag Drop:

Simply tear off the numbered strip from your runner’s number and attach to your bag. Then hand in to the Baggage Storage, situated at the finish area in Mill Gardens. Un-tagged bags will not be accepted.

Spectators

This is an awesome event for all spectators to get involved and line the course, cheering the runners on the whole way around.

No, for safety reasons, headphones will not be allowed to be worn for this event.

No, please leave your furry friends at home.
Will there be first aid at the Regency 10K?
Med Event UK (Paramedics and nurses) will be in attendance on the course and at the finish area. If you experience any problems during the event please contact any marshal or official who will be able to contact the medical staff.

Founded in 2004, this event is organised by volunteers from Leamington Round Table, and supported by Spa Striders and other local groups such as 41 Club and Kids Run Free. Now attracting around 2,500 runners each year, over £350,000 has been raised to date.
