Route information
This event takes place in the ever-popular Regent's Park in the heart of London.
The undulating course consists of 3-laps on tarmac or hard gravel pathway. In the past runners have been fortunate enough to see giraffes, camels and the odd big cat as they run past the Zoo. Other highlights include the Boating Lake, floral gardens and centuries-old statues.
This course is appropriate for all levels of runners but please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Event day logistics
Online entry for the 1st May 10K has now closed. Entry on the day will be available, subject to a £5 surcharge. Payment will be accepted by card only; further information can be found here.

Bib Numbers
Nothing will be posted to participants, race numbers will be available for collection at the event registration.
Age Requirements
All entrants must be 15 year of age or older to participate.
Prizes
There will be prizes available for males and females in the top three places overall and top place in each of the veteran age categories (V40/V50/V60/V70).
Series Entry/Qualification
To qualify for the Summer 10k series Grand Prix, you must at least finish 4 - 6 series races, the best of your 4 races will be used to calculate your final position.
Points will be awarded for each position you finish in, 1st place (50 points), 2nd (49 points), and 1 point for 50th+ for each individual event.
In the event of a tie break, the higher position will be awarded to the person who has attended the most events.

Bag Drop
Make sure to bring as little as possible to the event, participants can leave essential items at the bag drop by attaching their tear-off strip from their bib number.
Wheelchairs
This event is suitable for wheelchair users, please make sure to contact the organiser of the race prior to entering to make sure that can accomodate any additional requirements.
Headphones/Earphones
Noise-cancelling headphones and earphones are strictly prohibited. Other types of headphones and earphones are allowed but must be set to a low volume to ensure you can hear event officials at all times.
Dogs
Participants must not bring their personally owned dogs to the event, entries may be accepted for medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and with prior approval from the Race Director.
