May be due to restrictions in the park but would’ve been nice to do a bigger loop rather than repeating 4 laps. But organisation fantastic!!!

The results service was slow and very basic. There were no splits times that was advertised before the race.

1st run! Very fun, great to do it in a group. I hoped for a more scenic route, to run & see the beauty of the park. But, it was a fun experience. Great volunteers who were very helpful. Will consider volunteerimg going forward.

Forecast as extreme heat. Race should have been cancelled earlier. However very grateful to staff on the day for their encouragement and resilience also. Would run this course again in cooler weather.

Race took part on an extremely hot day (above 30 degrees), with no adjustments made to an earlier start time, extra water or changing the course so it wasn't completely in the sun. Ended up with collapsed runners needing urgent medical attention and overall a very tough run when it could have been made a lot safer and more fun!

I think given the heat an extra water station was needed. A way to chill the water at the finish line. Also given the heat I think some electrolyte sport drink was needed at the water station. .

Normally I think its a great race, having completed it 3 time. Unfortunately I think the race organisers had a duty of care for the runners, It was 33deg and only 1 water station which was ridiculous. A number of runners were treated by paramedics and even an air ambulance arrived to help. Very poor this time around.

1 water station was not enough in 32 degrees heat. Race should have either been pulled firearms 7:30am start OR postponed- very dangerous to be running in that heat and no way near enough Marshall’s to help those who collapsed.

Extremely worrying lack of water stations - with just one stand which you passed every 5km, many runners were 20-40 minutes without new water. Desperately needed more shade and possibly a reroute given the weather conditions, if not to have cancelled the race entirely. It was really dangerous and quite scary.
