The River Adur 5km Swim is back and with the tide with you all the way it’ll definitely be the quickest 5km you’ll ever swim. We doubled numbers from our inaugural swim and we’re looking to do the same again. There are two categories: Fin Swim & Just Swim. Just Swim is for swimmers looking for another challenging swim unaided and Fin Swim is just that, you can wear a pair of fins of your choice to speed your way to finish.

Get full directionsShoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5LT. Shoreham is about 8 miles west of Brighton. This is also the location for the coach pick up, finish & afternoon tea!
Event day logistics
Registration will take place on the banks of the river between 1030hrs & 1215hrs– this is also the finish area. Collect your race pack, REP kit bag and familiarise yourself with the course. You must attend the compulsory race briefing which will take place here at 12:20hrs. High tide at Shoreham is 6.3m at 12:50hrs, so 5km upstream high tide will be around 13:30hrs.
