Route information
Both the sportives and the half marathon will start at dawn, approximately 04:30 am.
ROC Coastal Trail
The ROC Coastal Trail is a half marathon for runners and walkers. Starting on South Beach, Lowestoft, everyone will head southwards along the coastal path towards Kessingland before looping back. The trail will pass through the unspoiled landscapes and beautiful beaches of this area.
ROC Coastal Sportive
The ROC Coastal Sportive consists of two distance options: the 100-mile route through Cromer and a shorter 50-mile course into Norfolk and back. Both routes pass through stunning areas of outstanding natural beauty, and through the historic surrounding towns and villages.
There will be numerous water and aid stations located throughout the routes.

Lowestoft (LWT) station is the closest train station to the start location, situated just half a mile away, which should take around 10 minutes to walk. This train station is serviced by Greateranglia, with connections to nearby cities, Ispwich and Norwich.
Parking
There are numerous Pay & Display car parks along the seafront. If you are planning to park on-site, please leave plenty of time to find a parking space as it will be very busy on the day.

St Elizabeth Hospice Charity
The event is fundraising in support of local charity St Elizabeth Hospice, to help improve the lives of people living with a progressive illness in East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
The hospice provides essential services free of charge, with three-quarters of the funding needed to provide these services raised within the local community. St Elizabeth volunteers will be helping marshal the courses, and any donations that are made in support of the hospice will be gratefully received.
