Route information
Try your hand at a trail run with a twist in this new hybrid trail event hosted by Rocket Race.
Participants will race around this 10K loop through Rushmore Estate on the lands of Cranborne Chase, and have their breath taken away by the views of this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. That won't be the only thing taking your breath away, as a number of natural and man-made steeplechase obstacles stand between you and the finish line. Runners completing the half & full marathons will run 2 & 4 laps of the course, respectively.
The course will be run through leafy woodland trails and over sections of open grassland, and the obstacles will be generally no higher than waist height, designed to be tackled on the move.
This event is perfect for trail runners looking to transition to obstacle running (OCR), or obstacle runners looking to increase their speed.
After the event, celebrate in the event village where you will be able to grab some scrumptious grub from vendors, peruse some goods on sale from fitness traders, and enjoy the camaraderie of the event atmosphere.

Parking is available onsite for £3 per car and is looked after by Templecombe Scouts and the Gillingham. This £3 charge includes bag drop for all those you can fit in.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before race time to ensure plenty of time for registration and to get warmed up.

- For the 10k a 10:20 Start Wave has been added because the 10:00 Start Wave has sold out.
Spectator Info
All spectators are welcome to come and support their runners over the obstacles and across the finish line. Spend time with your runners after the race in the event village, grab a bite to eat from our food and drink vendors and kick back and enjoy the atmosphere.
Car-side camping pitches are also available to book in advance and cost £10. Campers can arrive from 5pm on the Friday and must be clear of the site by 11am on Sunday.
