Route information
The Rocky Horror Swim Run is part of the Rock Hard Coast weekend, taking place at the beautiful South Milton Sands in South Devon.
The event consists of 4 Swimrun distances.

Rocky Horror Long: an 18 mile race with 4 swim legs and 4 run legs

Rocky Horror Short: an 8.5 mile race with 3 swim legs and 3 run legs

Rocky Ending Sprint: a sprint distance 3.5 mile race with two swim legs and two run legs.

Go Tri: a short 2.5 mile race with 1 swim leg and 1 run leg.
Both Swimruns follow the South West Coast Path from South Milton Sands, to Outer Hope, where the second swim leg takes place. Here participants swim 750 metres to Inner Hope before running back to South Milton Sands.
Long Swim Runners continue on to Salcombe’s North Sands for the third swim leg before running back along the coast path for their final swim section from Inner Hope to Outer Hope (opposite direction). Both short and Long Swimruns end at South Milton Sands, via a short inland section to East Soar.

Thurlestone is situated just North of Salcombe, on the coast. It can be easily accessed from Ivybridge, Plymouth or Totnes.
Parking
There is free parking available in the National Trust car park, regardless of whether you are a member or not.

Let's Do This are offering individual entry for the Rocky Horror Short, the Rocky Ending Sprint and the Go Tri.
Race Packs
All competitors will receive their race packs when they register before the race.

There will be a mandatory kit check at registration.
Age Restrictions
Competitors must be 18 year or over to compete in the Rocky Horror Long and Short races. You must be 16 years or older to compete in the Rocky Ending race and 15 years or older for the Go Tri race.
Camping
Camping is available in the farm fields behind the car park and Beach Hut cafe at South Milton Sands. It is a short 400m walk or drive up the hill to the entrance.
You can purchase one or two night’s camping here, when you are selecting your ticket.

Can I hire a swimrun wetsuit at the Rocky Horror Swim Run?
This series is sponsored by Tri Wetsuit hire and all entrants qualify for a discount on wet suit hire.
Are there cafes in the area at the Rocky Horror Swim Run?
There is a food shack on the edge of Thurlestone, which serves teas, coffees, and fresh fish.
Where can I purchase a tow buoy for the Rocky Horror Swim Run?
Tow buoy's can be purchased via Wild Running's online shop and there will be a limited amount of stock available on the day.
Will there be aid stations at the Rocky Horror Swim Run?
Yes, there will be aid stations but you must bring your own water bottle or cup to drink from.
Is there accommodation available at the Rocky Horror Swim Run?
You can purchase one or two night’s camping just near the event HQ when you are selecting your ticket.
