The route will take runners on mixed terrain with hard packed trail paths, some tarmac and some grass footpaths. Runners will cross the river numerous times, and given the nature of the river valley, there will be a few hills to contend with. Marathon runners will run the Half Marathon route twice, with the 10k taking a slightly different route.

People were lovely, but myself and quite a few others got lost on the course due to the markers. Also the 5km/15km water station was hard to find-so hard I couldn't find it!

Brilliant. Great organisation, friendly staff, and punches above its weight for atmosphere for such a small scale event. If you need mass crowds to get buzzing this isn't for you. But the 10K course is beautiful, this is running at its purest without all the bells and whistles. Decent medal too. Thanks H&TR.

It was enjoyable, some course sections were uneven so participants should watch their step in places, especially when you come out into the road from the field.Well-organised and friendly volunteers/staff.There wasn’t too much of a pre-event atmosphere, so no need to get there too early!

It's a much smaller event than I have experienced, which to be fair this is only my fourth event. Ladies at the start/finish were great, very friendly and welcoming. Very few people participating so naturally the atmosphere was very very chilled, which is not a bad thing, I went with expectations of a busier event.would certainly go again and would recommend.

It was very scenic route, for few moments little bit too scenic because I lost the way for a bit, made a few km above my planed distance, but nevermind... I enjoyed it in general.Thank you

I loved it having done a number of half marathons and 10k’s but not for c10 years. My enthusiasm has been well and truly reignited

Could have done with Marshall’s at a couple of points where the course was unclear & when crossing the road, otherwise it was brilliant! A great experience i would definitely do again 😊

Awesome. Well organised. Slight issue at 18km with some contradictory signage, but I guessed correctly! Others were not so lucky I hear!
