Route information
The 107 Mile route is a true test of a rider's strength and ability. Starting near the seaside, riders will head into the scenic and challenging Lincolnshire Wolds. The route has three notably tough climbs and it is important to leave some energy in the tank for the final climb, the Tiger will still have some bite at the end.
The 58 mile route is gentler than its longer counterpart. Riders are still treated to some outstanding climbs along lovely country lanes but this route shows you the very best of the Wolds, without all the pain of the 107 mile route.
The short route is a superb taster of what the Lincolnshire Wolds have to offer. From the outset you will see that whilst it certainly isn't flat, the views and scenery are well worth the lactic acid build up.

This was my first sportive event recommended to me by a friend at work who had learned that I was a keen cyclist and handed me a leaflet from SportiveHQ so I signed up for the next event on the calendar, the Ross Tiger and I went in at the deep end choosing to take part in the 100mile sportive. I turned up on the day on my own with my bike and was very well looked after by event staff and fellow riders. It was easy to find my way around the place and the amenities at the start were excellent with lots of space to park and set up bikes. The course was extremely challenging for me as a beginner but I managed a reasonable time of 7hours10minutes taking full advantage of the very well planned (and much needed) stops along the way. The scenery was stunning and some of the views will stay with me for a while, coupled up with the atmosphere of being surrounded by other cyclists with the same goal of achieving a quite spectacular achievement was very thrilling for me. The course felt like one giant hill after another and I was sore for days afterwards, but it had some great downhill and flat sections too, it was well sign posted and this was very reassuring for me as I wasn’t familiar with the area. Once I’d past the finish line I bought my medal (loved the design of it) and received my official time ticket, I had a nice chat with the event staff and other cyclists that finished around the same time as me and set off home feeling quite good about myself. Definitely will do this course again, and I have done an another event with SportiveHQ and plan to do many more! 11/10 from me.

I have ridden the Ross Tiger twice now and the organisation and implementation of the ride has exceeded my expectations on both occasions. Friendly staff and organisers make this one of the best sportives on the calendar.

My first time doing the Ross Tiger this year, and booked it as a training ride for the Outlaw that I was doing later that same month. I had done a couple of sportiv hq events with friends previously and was confident enough with the set up and organisation to enter on my own, knowing I would probably meet some lovely people to ride with, which I did! Route was challenging enough but not too hard, with fantastic views, feed stations were brilliant and well stocked as always. I’ll be back next year!

As ever an excellent event, thoroughly enjoyed it and the organisation was first class. Great food stations and the marshalls/volunteers are the best I've encountered anywhere
