Definitely the best obstacle event I've ever done! Far more interesting obstacles than most, great scenery, really friendly and well organised, and much better value than some other events out there. Will be coming back this year!… read more

Route description
Route description

With three racing options to choose from plus one for the little ones in your family (Roughian Rascals), this event will surely keep everyone in the family happy. The unique obstacle course combines the best elements of your favourite TV shows like Takeshi's Castle, Wipeout and Ninja Warrior.

5K Route: 10 creative obstacles that you won't have seen before with 500M between them. This event is for those just looking for a bit of fun.

10K Route: 15 unique obstacles and about 750M between them, this combines tons of fun with a little more challenge.

15K Route: For the big dogs. With 20 obstacles and 500 - 1000M between each one this is the most challenging of the Rough Runner courses and should not be scoffed at.

Kids Route: The Roughian Rascals is a shortened version thats perfect for the little ones.

I foolishly went out the night before so I found it tougher than I should have! But I just about made it round and had a good laugh.

FAQ

FAQ

In most cases Dogs aren't allowed, however, each venue operator has their own policies. Please drop an email to [email protected] to inquire. Any dogs that are brought to events, guide dogs or otherwise must be kept on leads at all times, and any foul must be picked up and disposed of properly. Please note that at some of these events there will be livestock in the area.
FAQ
Have you got showers at the Rough Runner Oxfordshire?
There are hot showers at most of our events. To help raise money for our chosen charity, The Stroke Association, there's a minimal charge. You are strongly urged to bring a towel and a fresh change of dry clothes. If it's hot you'll be sweaty, if it's wet you'll be muddy. Either way, it's much nicer to have a drink at the bar if you're feeling fresh.
FAQ
Have you got changing rooms at the Rough Runner Oxfordshire?
Yes, there will be changing facilities, but it’s basic – literally a marquee tent, one for men, and one for women. There’s nothing inside them.
