The closest motorway junction is J6 of the M4.
Parking
The Official Event Car Park is located at The Windsor Boys’ School (1 Maidenhead Rd, Windsor SL4 5EH), and is the best place to park for the event only being a short 300-meter walk from the event village. This opens at 7:00am and costs £10 for all day parking (until 4:00pm).
Event day logistics
09:00 Half Marathon starts (rolling start)
09:30 6km & 10km starts (rolling start)
Rolling Start
Participants will head off in small waves every few minutes creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This helps to keep the course clear of congestion and avoids any accidents. If you're planning on running fast, please make sure you are at the front of the first wave.
Facilities
- There will be plenty of toilets available
- Bag drop (£2.50 per bag)
- Many drink stations throughout the course
- Lead cyclist for first wave
- Various catering options serving hot and cold food and beverages.
Restrictions
- Participants for the half marathon must be 17 years old and above. Those for the 10k must be 15 and above.
- Noise-cancelling headphones are prohibited. Use of other headphones is discouraged in order for you to hear instructions from event officials.
- The event is not suitable for buggies, pushchairs etc. due to the uneven terrain.
Prizes
There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers in the event.
