Route information

Welcome to the very first edition of Run The Trails hosted in the spectacular Margam Country Park. This new event has an option for either a 5k or 10k that is suited for all runners, experienced or beginner.

Run The Trails is suited for all!

The race will consist of a 5k lap, with the 10k being a repeat of the 5k route. Please keep to the left hand side when possible and please respect other path users.

All runs with start from Margam Country Park.

Parking

Car parking is at the East Gate of Margam park. The Car Park open at 7:00am.

Cost for parking is included in the ticket.

Event day logistics

Registration: 9:00 to 10:45

Mandatory Race Briefing: 10:50

5k & 10k Start time: 11:00

First Runners Expected: 11:15

Awards Ceremony: 13:00

Registration and Race Numbers

You will collect your race number and timing chip on the day of the race when you register, and your number must be visible on your front for the whole race. Please make sure you arrive early enough to park, register and get ready for your race.

Age Requirements

All runners must be aged 16 or older for the 5k & 10k.
