Route information
Breath in crisp autumn air as you meander your way along the footpaths and bridleways of Marley Common, Blackdowns, and South Downs National Park in this 5km or 10km trail run.
This event to hosted to raise much needed funds for Camelsdale School, while encouraging the community to escape into nature, and find new and healthy ways to challenge themselves physically and mentally. It is open to all abilities, including walkers.
The route will begin on the grounds of Camelsdale School, and will undulate its way over the magnificent Marley Common to Blackdown, and back again.
The 5km route will be an out and back route with 156m of elevation climb, a perfect route for those new to trail running and just want to enjoy the scenic route.
The 10km route extends slightly longer than 10km, as it takes you to the Blackdown Western viewpoint, where panoramic views of the South Downs await you, before heading back to the finish line. The course has a total of 338m of elevation climb, and will be 12km long.
At the finish line, runners will celebrate with a buzzing finish festival featuring plenty of local food & drink stalls, music, and entertainment for the whole family. There will be kids races for those 11 years and younger.

£2.50 of each ticket sold will be donated to a School PTA of your choice. If you choose the partner entry, £5 of your ticket price will be donated. Please specify which school you would like your donation to go to during registration. The remainder of the funds will be donated to Camelsdale Primary School PTA.

Yes, there is no cutoff time so runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.

Unfortunately, no dogs will be allowed at this event.
