A challenging mixed terrain 5K 10K race, in the Chiltern Hills around the village of Radnage, 5 minutes from J5 on the M40. The RR5K course follows one half of the 10K route (the right loop section of the 'figure of eight' shape), and is great for those who only wish to encounter one of the hills ... and here's a map of the course.

Rugged by name rugged by nature. A run surrounded by the amazing chiltern hills and offering both declines amd inclines that quite literally took your breath away. X-country trainers are a must for this one.Did the 10K in 2018
Great course and a lovely friendly atmosphere. The marshaling was brilliant, lots of marshals and they are always so friendly! Very easy to sign on and well organized parking etc. Cant wait till next year.P.S. can you slow down Paul Fernandez? :)Did the 10K in 2018
Went very well & knew everything I needed toDid the 10K in 2018
Great race but tricky because half of it is on road and half off (with a fair amount of mud). I went for road shoes which I think is the best option but choice of footwear causes quite a debate. There are two serious hills on the course that are generally walked by all but the fastest so be prepared for a tough race.Did the 10K in 2018
The course is about 50% off road so keep an eye on the weather as it can get muddy when its been wet - so footware can make a difference. 2018 saw fantastic conditions - sunny, almost dry underfoot and a slight chill in the air.Certainly a great way to see the Chiltern Hills!Did the 10K in 2018
Lovely low key village hall race! Tough rural course with a couple of technical wooded sections and steep climbs. Well organised and simple, friendly logistics.Did the 10K in 2018
Trail shoes are a must..Lovely scenic course with plenty of ups and downsDid the 10K in 2018
Great run. About half is muddy trails and half road so you do need appropriate footwear. Friendly atmosphere and a good crowd.Did the 10K in 2018
Muddy, hilly and loads of fun!Did the 10K in 2018
With glorious weather and a dry course it was a fabulous event. Some challenging hills to make it feel truly XC and combined with some decent road sections it makes for a really good course. I ran in Salomon Speedcross 4 trail shoes which were ideal for this event. Killer hill at 9k never forgotten!
