The water provision was really poor. The bottles weren’t conducive to consuming while on the move (squirty lids far better and easier to consume, as used by other race organisers). Not enough people on water station given hot weather and number of runners.

Not enough water stations given the heat, Mike makers needed lap detail And it was very boring - 8 times round the same circle !

This was the first time participating in a 10k run and I new to running. The whole experience was great - communications were good and I felt I had adequate information. The location (Aintree Racecourse) was great. It was also nice to see some stalls and companies showcasing their products. I would have liked to have seen more stalls and activities at the site if possible.

I enjoyed the day, I would advise to train hard before the race and wear the right footwear.
