The course is fast and flat, so feel like an Olympian as you race under the shadows of the Olympic rings.

The course will be run on roads and paths and each loop is roughly 5k, participants will run a varying amount of laps of the lake depending on their distance.

There will be plenty of free onsite parking available at the Eton College Rowing Centre.

By Public Transport

The closest train stations to the event site are Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside.

Race Pack

Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.

Age Requirements

5k - 11 or over
10k - 15 or older
Half Marathon - 17 or older

Bag Drop

There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.

Cut-off

There will be a 3 hour cut-off for the half marathon.

Water Stations

There will be water stations after each lap of the race.

Headphones

It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. There will also be pedestrians on the paths you'll be running who you'll need to be aware of.

Was told to park on the grass, was then shouted at by an elderly man in a high vis telling us to get off the grass, so many people were shouted at, it was awful!!! Everything else was okay apart from this x

Not enough parking space, ended up I needed to walk over 1km to the start line.

Really good event and course/surrounding, very congested start, slow runners talking and three abreast near start, rather oblivious to quicker runners who are trying to get past, otherwise great, good marshals too.

It’s a very lovely 1st time experience. All went well and the path was really flat so had a good first time PB doing the 10k. Only thing is it was a little bit crowded in the beginning as lots of people starting at same time but I believe that you’ve already staggered the time between runs for June so hopefully it would be much better for the participants next time. Thank you all to the organisers and well done for such a very lovely day 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The event was chaos on arrival. There wasn’t enough parking provision so cars started parking on the course. The ushers originally told people to park there then said not to because it was where the runners were. I didn’t want to get my car stuck if I couldn’t leave whilst people were running nor did I want to run a course with cars leaving and driving on the course whilst I was running. I therefore left and just ran locally instead of take part in the race.

Sadly didn't get an official time for this half marathon. Didn’t enjoy the 4 lap course although the Marshall’s were superb. Not much atmosphere at the start and I couldn’t hear as sound system not great. The weather was great which helped a bit but wouldn’t like to do that course if there had been a cross wind.
