Route information
This out and back course incorporates beautiful scenery as it passes over some tough hills. The second half of the course is definitely easier than the first with some flat surfaces and even some downhill sections, ensuring you coast across the finish line.
There will be water stations along the course every 3 miles.

Parking is available in the Nest Car Park.
The Forest sits wedged between Teesdale and Weardale in the heart of beautiful Durham Dales, approximately 10 miles (16k) west of Bishop Auckland.
The forest is signposted off the A68, north of West Auckland. Cars are charged £3 each (£5 on bank holiday weekends) on the Forest Drive to access the Forest and it’s facilities.
Minibuses are charged at £8 each and coaches £12. There is no charge for visitors on foot.

Entrants must be 15 and older to enter the 5 miler and 17 and older to enter the 10 miler.
