This route will take you along the flat runway at the Woodbridge Military of Defence site and past some of the old hangers. This course will be flat. fast and predominantly straight with only a couple of twists and turns. Perfect for a P.B or your first 10k event.

By Car
Please use the Rocks Barracks entrance off of Heath Road towards Hollesley. Once through the gates of the airfield, a marshal will guide you through the correct gate before you are shown your parking space.
By Train
The closest train station is Melton, from Melton you can take a bus from Orford to Turning Point. From there it will be a 15 minute walk to the venue.

Race packs
You must collect your race packs from registration on the day of the event. Registration will be open from 08:30 onwards.
Cupless event
In an effort to reduce plastic waste, this event is cupless. Please bring your own cup or bottle of water with you. Water will be available via a bowser.

Spectators welcome but NO dogs allowed on site by order of the M.O.D.

No, there is not a bag drop, the car park is close enough to the start line.

Yes, there will be a water station where you will have to fill up your own bottles or cups with water.

Can I bring my dog to the Run for A Rose?
No, dogs are not allowed in the race or anywhere on the MoD land. Anyone with a dog in their car will be turned away at the main gate.

Just brillant from start to finish. Booking on, directions to get there, race info emails, number pick up, start, course, prize giving….. brilliant. Defo for next years calendar. Thank you

Lovely, friendly event. great atmosphere.Perhaps next time think about the logistics such as:Start/finish nearer the car park and loos.Put the water bowser on the runners' side of the course (thanks to small person for helping me with my water).And turn off that massive hot air blower!
