Route information
Terrain: Tarmac and concrete

This route will take you along the flat runway at the Woodbridge Military of Defence site and past some of the old hangers. This course will be flat. fast and predominantly straight with only a couple of twists and turns. Perfect for a P.B or your first 10k event.

Get full directionsBy Car
Please use the Rocks Barracks entrance off of Heath Road towards Hollesley. Once through the gates of the airfield, a marshal will guide you through the correct gate before you are shown your parking space.
By Train
The closest train station is Melton, from Melton you can take a bus from Orford to Turning Point. From there it will be a 15 minute walk to the venue.

Is there a bag drop at the Run for A Rose?
No, there is not a bag drop, the car park is close enough to the start line.
Will there be water stations at the Run for A Rose?
Yes, there will be a water station where you will have to fill up your own bottles or cups with water.
Can I bring my dog to the Run for A Rose?
No, dogs are not allowed in the race or anywhere on the MoD land. Anyone with a dog in their car will be turned away at the main gate.
