The route allows participants to explore almost all of Heaton Park. Runners will have the opportunity to loop around the circumference of the park's lake before then passing the classic 18th century country house, Heaton Hall.
The Half Marathon route has minor differences from the 5k and 10k, however course marshals will be stationed at all major points throughout the course.
Schedule
09:30 Half Marathon start
10:00 5k and 10k start
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled start time in order to ensure a smooth registration process.
*Further information will be sent out to those registered closer to the time.
Volunteers are key to the success of these events. In return for your help, RunThrough offer free entry into one of their races.

Car: There are a number of Pay & Display car parks throughout the park.
Tram: Manchester Metrolink offers free park and ride across its network for all of those using the service. Bury Interchange and Radcliffe & Whitefield stations have trams running to the Heaton Park and Bowker Vale stops, which are within walking distance of the park.
