Push yourself through the vast expanses of Heaton Park in this epic race. Great for runners of all stripes, the course snakes through the park passing notable landmarks such as the 18th century manor house, Heaton Hall. Come for the spectacular backdrop or for the great atmosphere.

Route description
The route gives you the opportunity to explore almost all of this mammoth Park. Notable landmarks include the Park's lake and of course the iconic Heaton Hall country house, the park's main attraction.
The Half Marathon route differs slightly from the 5km and 10km runs, however there will be course marshals throughout to keep you in the right direction.
Schedule:
09:30 Half Marathon start
10:00 5km start
10:05 10km start
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled start time in order to ensure a smooth registration process.
Further information will be sent out to those registered closer to the time.
Spectators are instrumental in contributing to the overall atmosphere of the day and strongly encourage to come along.
With the start and finish line at the same place, this course is perfect for those wishing to support friends and family.
RunThrough are always on the lookout for volunteers to help bring their events to life. On race days there are a number of roles which need filling such as course marshals, water attendants, and handing out those prized finisher's medals.

Car: There are a number of Pay & Display car parks throughout the park.
Tram: Manchester Metrolink offers free park and ride across its network for all of those using the service. Bury Interchange and Radcliffe & Whitefield stations both offer an easy ride to the Heaton Park and Bowker Vale stops, which are within walking distance of the park.
