This is certainly not a flat trail run. With 259m elevation it is a hard but enjoyable race. There’s 2 killer hills (which you do 4 times)but some nice downhill sections too. I wouldn’t recommend for a beginner unless you’re a fast beginner. With a small entry if you’re slower than 2hours 20mins there won’t be many behind you

My first event and was a great introduction to competitive running . Friendly atmosphere and everyone so helpful.

Really enjoyed the run although, be warned, there a a couple of killer hills, which make chasing a PB challenging. Although the covid protocols seemed excessive at first (no fault of the organisers, they're just following guidelines), they actually worked really well. The staggered starts meant that there was no bunching up and falling over each other. It was nice and smooth. Really enjoyed the day. Thanks.
4.7Did the 10k in 2021
Well enough organised race but a little confusing if you haven't got a watch as there is a lot of signposts due to the three distances being ran. It's also a lot tougher than what you think with a few quite steep hills not somewhere many will get a PB but worth doing for the money they charge which is reasonable.
