Route information
Manchester City FC's Etihad Stadium is the venue of this well-organised evening 5K & 10K hosted by RunThrough.
The route will take runners around the stadium and past multiple venues of the Manchester Commonwealth Games. Enjoy the spectacular view of the stadium lit up at night, and chase the sunset around this fast and flat course that provides a perfect opportunity to smash that PB.
Runners will run the route twice for the 5K and four times for the 10K. Each mile is accurately marked out and the course is well-marshalled.

Train:
Manchester Piccadilly station is the best station to travel to to run in this event. From here, you can walk, bike, bus, or metrolink to the stadium.
Walking:
There is a safe, well lit and signposted walking route available from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Follow the ‘City Link’ signs. It will take approximately 25 minutes to walk to the Etihad Stadium from the city centre.
Cycling:
There are a number of bike racks around the stadium. The Club accepts no liability and all bikes are left at their own risk.
Buses:
There are bus stops adjacent to the stadium.
Metrolink:
The dedicated tram stop, Etihad Campus is adjacent to the stadium, located in City Square.
Metrolink runs from the city centre including. Manchester Piccadilly station to Etihad Campus stop and on towards Ashton. The journey time from Piccadilly is less than 10-minutes.
