Run in the heart of Media City and loop over the canal with sights of the Imperial War Museum, ITV and BBC television studios. This 2.5km route is fast and flat, making it perfect for a PB. Those running the 5k will run 2 laps of the course, and those running the 10k will run 4 laps.

Get full directionsBy Train
The best and easiest way to get to Media City is to take the Metrolink, with ‘Media City’ Metrolink station located not even 100 meters from the event village. Media City can be accessed from the city center and changing at Cornbrook station, just outside the city center. The closest train station to MediaCityUK is Salford Crescent train station, which is approximately a 10-minute journey by taxi.
By Bus
There are services from Manchester city center, Intu Trafford Centre, Hulme, Swinton and East Didsbury. Frequent bus services from outside Salford Crescent station link it with MediaCityUK.
By Car
MediaCityUK can be found from the M60 ring road on to the M602 exiting at junction 3 signposted Salford Quays/Trafford Park. From the roundabout follow signs for Salford Quays turning right onto Broadway at the first set of Traffic lights.

Race Pack
Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.
Age Requirements
5k: Entrants must be 11 years of age or older to participate 10k: Entrants must be 15 years of age or older to participate
Refreshments
There will be a water station available on every lap of the course and at the finish where there will be water and post-race goodies.

All spectators are welcomed at the Run Media City, the fast and flat course provides an awesome venue to cheer on the runners.
