Well organised, friendly volunteers and a scenic if hilly course. It felt a little quiet numbers wise but worth the trip.

The Race (1/2 marathon) was a proper challenge and one that would test even the best race plan and training. The scenery and the route were really stunning, the locals both those in and out of the races were very engaging and fun. For a local club based run held on a Sunday in July I would recommend this race to those of us that enjoy hill work and running around lanes in one of the most scenic parts of the north east..
