Route information
The various races will cover different courses.
The 10k will be undulating and will cover mixed terrain. The race will take you out over undulating plains where there will be opportunities to embrace the views after trialing climbs. Near the end of the course do not be fooled by turning back to the school. Make sure you continue on to the farm to repeat the 3rd, 4th, and 5th kilometres before a speedy descent towards the finish.
The 5k race is rather similar to the 10k. However, make sure as you reach School Lane take the sharp right-hand turn and then the left-hand turn to the back of the school. If not you will end up joining the 10k runners for another lap.
The 1k race starts on concrete along Grafton Lane. This race is mainly on tarmac and pavement. Make sure to keep to the pavement as you climb over the motorway bridge. You will then descend towards the school, make sure to enter the rear entrance of the school, after a quick lap of the playground you will finish the race.

Race Packs
All race packs will be given to you at registration on the day. You must enter this event in advance, there will be no entry on the day available.
Rules:
- Headphones and any music players are not permitted to be worn during the race, if caught using them participants will be disqualified.
- Due to this being a UKA-affiliated event you cannot runners cannot race with their dogs.
Kit
- The 10k and 5k will both traverse mixed terrain courses so make sure to wear appropriate footwear and kit.
Water Stations
Water stations will be located at the 6k mark during the 10k race and will also be available at the end of the other races.
Toilets
There will be toilets available which will be located inside the school.
Bag Drop
There will also be a fully-manned bag drop available for all participants.
Fully-marked course
There will be distance markers every kilometre during the 5k and 10k races.
Black Pear Joggers
Groups for all abilities from jog/walk to faster paced running groups. An England Athletics affiliated club, offering Couch to 5K groups for beginners, a range of social and running events and take part in many races and cross country leagues.
FAQs
When does the Run Pendock start?
The 1k fun run will start at 9:30am, the 10k will start at 10:00am followed by the 5k at 10:05am. All participants must arrive early to pick up their race number from registration. The 1k registration closes at 09:00am whereas registration for the 10k and 5k closes at 09:30am.
Can I run with headphones at the Run Pendock?
No, all headphones are strictly prohibited. Any participant caught using a music device will be disqualified.
Will there be water stations at the Run Pendock?
There will be a water station available at the 6k mark for all 10k participants. There will also be water available for all runners at the finish line.
