The route takes runners around the incredibly scenic Richmond Park on a mix of country paths and cross country sections. There are many fast sections but there are a few hills thrown in. Underfoot will be a mix of trails and paths so trail shoes are recommended for this event.
All distances follow the same lapped course.
- 5k - 1 lap
- 10k - 2 laps
- Half Marathon 4 laps
Runners are encouraged to go at their own pace so feel free to walk, jog or run.
Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be on the Park. Runners should also be aware that there are deer in the Park and they occasionally cross the walking paths and roads.

This is a well plotted course with plenty of challenges for both a novice and more experienced runner. The 4/5 stars is simply because it's a lap race and I'm not a massive fan, but I appreciate the need for laps in a race where both a 5K and 10K are offered simultaneously. Organisation was good, no issues or hiccups that I could see and everyone knew where they needed to be. Good atmosphere with a few hundred people taking part, predominantly in the 10K race I will say.

Good course, nice atmosphere and pleasant people, but value for money is not something the race organiser knows. Paid 21.40 to get a couple of sweets and some water at the end of the race. Then waited more than 2 days for the race pictures to come out, to realise it costs 8.99 to get a single digital copy of a picture.... WOW. Tip: Have a look at what RunThroughUK offers and see what you are doing wrong.

First time running Richmond. Was able to park which is a big bonus. Cant think of any faults. Good chip timing nice medal. Not my fav course but a decent challenge with small hills here and there.
