Route information
The track is more famous for being the home of some legendary F1 races, but this is an opportunity to run around the iconic circuit on foot. So it's time to put the after-burners on and aim for a new PB!
The route is traffic-free since it all takes place on the Silverstone circuit, although emergency vehicles and authorised vehicles might be on track. It is requested that you are aware of and considerate towards all other runners while you are racing.

Parking: Please do as much of your preparation as possible in the car park.
Allow yourself enough time to park, get ready and enter the site. It will take you 30 minutes to walk from the car park to the Enquiries and Bag Drop area, please do not arrive more than 60 minutes before your start wave.
By Car: Approaching from either the M40 or M1, take the A43 dual carriageway towards Silverstone Grand Prix. Journey time from Central London should be approximately 90 minutes, and 60 minutes from Birmingham.
By Public Transport: Silverstone's nearest train stations are Northampton, Banbury or Milton Keynes.

Wheelchair Races
Wheelchair entrants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early.
Cut-off Times
Cut-off time will be 4 hours after you start.
Toilets
Toilets will be available in the car park from this time.
Arriving at the event
It is approximately a 30 minute walk from the car park to the Enquiries and Bag Drop area. Do not arrive more than 60 minutes before your start wave.
Before leaving the car park please fasten your bib number to the front of your top using the safety pins provided, your bib should be visible at all times.
When you are ready, follow signs and instructions from stewards - you will need to have your bib number OR confirmation email ready to show to security. If you do not have any evidence to show you have entered the event you will be asked to leave.
Once you have left the car park you will join the one-way system that will, eventually, take you to the start line!
You will not be able to return to the car park until after you have completed your run, please ensure you have everything you need with you before you leave the car park.
There will be bottled water at the finish, and at water stations along the course, but please try to be self-sufficient and carry with you what you need to refuel and hydrate during the event.
Spectator Info
Unfortunately this year spectators will not be allowed at the event. This is to ensure the safety of all participants and staff.

What are the age requirements for the Run Silverstone?
Family Mile: There are no age requirements for this event.
Half Marathon: Runners must be aged 17+ on race day.
10k: Runners must be aged 15+ on race day.
5k: Runners must be aged 11+ on race day.
Can I enter Run Silverstone on the day?
No, you are not allowed to enter on the day.
What is the Enquiries and Bag Drop area at Run Silverstone?
The bag drop and enquiries area, which will be in the one-way system, will be an area to enquire about the following things: You did not receive your pack in the post, swapping to a different distance, and anything else that cannot be resolved in advance. Bag drop will be limited so please do not bring any large items.
Can I run wearing earphones/headphones at Run Silverstone?
You are not permitted to wear noise-cancelling earphones or headphones. Although it is discouraged to use other earphones/headphones at this event, it is permitted. However, runners choosing to use them are asked to keep their volume set to a minimum so that they can still hear instructions from marshals and race officials clearly. Participants who cannot hear instructions because of earphones/headphones may be disqualified.
Is there anywhere I can change/shower at Run Silverstone?
Sadly, there will not be any changing or shower facilities available at this race.
What if I lose something while at Run Silverstone?
All lost property from the event will be kept for one month. If nobody claims the item or ownership cannot be identified, the item will be donated to charity.
