This is a flat fast course that starts and finishes outside the large main stand and Richmond RunFest have reduced the laps to only 5 laps (1 small lap and 4 laps of 5mile distance).
The marathon will start at the racecourse grandstands so the music and atmosphere will be electric as you round the Clubhouse turn and head into the Home Stretch! With their famous cheer points on the Back Stretch and a DJ at the start and finish, you'll struggle not to feel the adrenaline rush as you make your way around the course.
This course will be perfect for any hopefuls looking to qualify for the London Marathon under 'Good for age' requirements as it is a fully licensed event.

How to get there

There will be a bike park area at the venue for you to safely leave your bike while you take part in the event.
Kempton Park is located on the A308 between Sunbury on Thames and Hampton Court, less than one mile from Junction 1 of the M3 via Junction 12 of the M25.
Kempton Park Station is 200 yards from the North entrance of the racecourse. Trains run every half an hour direct from London Waterloo with a 40-minute journey time.
Please note that, due to social distancing measures, the eight-carriage trains can only accommodate up to 150 passengers, so do not travel by train unless absolutely necessary.
Event day logistics
08:30 Marathon starts
All runners will be given a specific arrival time to avoid congestion.
All UK race packs will be posted in batches two weeks before the race. You should expect to receive this in the final week leading up to the event.
If you do not receive your race pack before the event, you will be able to collect a replacement pack from an Info Point on Event Day.
All runners must be 18 and older to enter the event.
If possible leave your belongings with one of your supporter, if not there will be a bag drop available for your use.
Results will be published within 12 hours after the event has finished.
There will be First Aid throughout the course, and there will be marshals posted along the track and sweeping the course.
