Route information

Goodwood Motor Circuit is unique and it is the only classic circuit to remain entirely in its original form. Originally opening in 1948, Goodwood has hosted countless motor racing events and is the current home to the Festival of Speed.

The running course will take place on the track itself and runners will benefit from the smooth tarmac.

Each lap of the course is around 5k, so competitors will need to complete a different number of laps depending on their race.

5k - 1 lap
10k - 2 laps
Half Marathon - 5 laps
20 Mile - 7 laps
Marathon - 11 laps
50k - 13 laps

Parking

There will be plenty of parking available onsite but competitors are encouraged to car share where at all possible.

By Train

If you wish to travel via train, there is a regular service from London Victoria to Chichester (1hour 40 minutes), plus the coastal service from Brighton and Portsmouth.

Buses or taxis are then available at Chichester Station.

*Please arrive at least 45-60 minutes before the start of your race to allow plenty of time to park, register, collect your race pack, attach your race number, drop your bag, and warm up.

Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.
