This lapped route takes runners around the edge of Battersea Park's beautiful Boating Lake. Running alongside this lake under the moonlight makes this running experience even more special.
The paths are wide and flat, giving plenty of space for the runners, making this a stress-free experience.
Course marshals will help guide runners throughout the race and distances will be clearly marked.

Battersea Park Railway Station is a 10 minute walk away from the Bandstand and has frequent services from Victoria.
Bus services run frequently from Vauxhall Railway Station to Battersea Park and is served by a number of bus routes. Address: Battersea Park Bandstand, SW11 4NJ
There is a paid car park open to the public.

The event village and registration will be located next to the Battersea Park Bandstand.
Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time in order to complete the registration process.
Runners for the 5k must be aged 11 or over and runners for the 10k must be aged 15 or over.
There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.
There will be water stations at the 5k point of the race and at the finish where flapjacks and bananas will be waiting for finishers.
There are 2 public toilets in Battersea Park which you'll be able to use. Please note that they are about a 5 minute walk from the start area and event village.
It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. There will also be pedestrians on the paths you'll be running who you'll need to be aware of.

Can I wear headphones for the Battersea 5k & 10k - October?
Headphones are allowed, however, are not recommended as participants will have to be aware of others using the park.
Can I change which race I want to run for the Battersea 5k & 10k - October?
Yes, you can decide whether you want to run 5 or 10 on the day. If you decide you want to run the 10k, just follow signage and keep running.
Is there somewhere I can leave my bag while I run in the Battersea 5k & 10k - October?
Yes, there will be a secure baggage area. Your baggage take is attached to your race number, just tear it off and secure it to your bag.
Are there toilets at the Battersea 5k & 10k - October?
The park has 2 sets of toilets but both sets are a little way from the start/finish point, so please allow time to get to and from them.
Are there age restrictions for Battersea 5k & 10k - October?
Yes, runners for the 10k must be ages 15 or over and runners for the 5k must be aged 11 or over.
