Route information

This will be a flat course in Clapham Common with the majority of the route along footpaths. The last 75m of the course will be on gravel, making the sight of the finish line even sweeter!

Enjoy the cheering marshals as you run past the bandstand to the finish line.

Parking

There is no parking available on site. If you do drive, please park on the roads around the common, paying attention to permit areas and pay machines.

By Public Transport

Clapham Common Tube or Clapham South Tube is approximately a 5-minute walk from the start line.

Clapham Junction train station is also around 1 mile away, but there are busses available if you don't feel like walking (35, 37, 345).

By Foot

There is bike parking available within the park, and the site is easily accessible by both foot and bike.

Event day logistics

19:00 10k & 5k races start

Registration

The event village and registration will be located 100m east of the Clapham Common Bandstand.

Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time in order to complete the registration process.

Race Pack

Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.

Age Requirements

Runners for the 5k must be aged 11 or over and runners for the 10k must be aged 15 or over.

Bag Drop

There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.

Refreshments

There will be water stations at the 5k point of the race and at the finish where flapjacks and bananas will be waiting for finishers.

Headphones

It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. There will also be pedestrians on the paths you'll be running who you'll need to be aware of.
