Route information
Beginning at the Hype Park Bandstand, the flat and fast paths of one of London's most famous parks provides a unique opportunity to smash your personal best in either the 5k or 10k distance.
Each kilometre is accurately marked out and you can rely on both your fans, the volunteers, and the many visitors of Hyde Park to cheer you towards the finish line.
The course is 2 laps for the 5k and 4 laps for the 10k.

Hyde Park is highly accessible by public transport. There are also car parking facilities available but it is recommended that visitors avoid coming by car as there are limited places. Have a look at the Royal Parks Website for details on the car parks within Hyde Park.
If you are using a mobile device, the postcode for the park is W2 2UH, but note this is for guidance only as the park covers a large area. The race will start at the Bandstand which is near the Serpentine Lake.

Event day logistics
Schedule:
09:30: 5k & 10k start
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the race in order to store your baggage and get warmed up.
Baggage Storage:
There will be a secure area where you can leave your baggage. It is recommended you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
Toilets:
Hyde Park has two sets of Male and Female toilets one near to the bandstand which is virtually on the course and near the start/finish and another set next to The Old Police House. It is recommended you arrive early if you plan to use the toilets.

Can I wear headphones during the race?
Since Hyde Park can be very busy, please be aware that you may encounter pedestrians or dogs. There will be marshals around the course but it is not a road race, therefore we recommend you do not use headphones as you need to pay close attention to the happenings around you.
