The queues were very long and a bit confusing. Friends couldn't find their entries. My friend received a number for the wrong race.

Good vibe and organisation, shame the route wasn't around more of Hyde Park but that might be too tricky to organise.

I run the 10k Battersea and was more organized. They organized by the time that people were aimed to do the race. Also 5k came after 10k. This time was everything mixed so it was very slow in the beginning.

The run was well sign posted and marshalled, however, the collection of race numbers was chaotic. I queued for 20mins only to be told I was registered (I was) and I had to join another queue. Put a real dampener on the event.

My registration hadn’t gone through and this seemed to be a case for so many runners that they had to delay the start time. I found doing 4 of the same lap a bit boring and would much prefer to do a longer circuit and see more of the park (and not be constantly lapped by the sweaty and smelly fast runners). There weren’t enough medals for all of us to get the ‘Hyde park’ one which was disappointing. The warm up was very poor. All of this would’ve been fine if we hadn’t spent quite a lot of money to participate. I’ve been doing Parkrun regularly and the atmosphere there is amazing! Luckily it was a beautiful day and I’d trained hard so I enjoyed the run overall and was very happy with my time. But I don’t think I will be doing a run through event again any time soon.
