A course that needs to be done 13 times for a half marathon is tough, and the staggered start times felt a little clumsy, and the half marathon 30 minute ahead start time made no sense - it would have been helpful to know in advance, rather than rushing and not making it!The lady who is at the start and in charge (amazing, and jolly and frankly so brilliantly funny and supportive!) and the marshals were great as ever - although to there could have been slightly more on it ones at the lap moment.

Only downside was it said the course would be 3 laps and one small one. But on arrival it turned out to be 13 laps

The hilly bits got me good, but as a novice runner it was a great course, great vibe around the course and I thoroughly enjoyed my half marathon!

The course was monotonous. The pre-race information was wrong (it said the half marathon was 4 laps when in fact it was 13). There were no nearby toilets during the race. There were no markers or anything to let you know how far you had gone. The runners on the track were trying so hard to stay left that they bumped into each other. Runners that had finished were posing at the finish line and weren’t encouraged to move out of the way. Some of the marshals were just standing around chatting and paying no attention to the runners.
