I would not recommend this event. Moreover i would definitely DO NOT recommend getting entry on this website. Go to event organiser website and get your entry there. I made a mistake of getting it here.... I was on a list and my friend was not! I bought both entries. She filled up and send back email with her details as they ask here. I sent 3 emails to Lets do it and 5 emails to event organiser and still she WAS NOT ON A LIST! I mean, thank you for ruining her birthday present? Shocking. And then when we finished.. The person who suppose to give you a medal was busy chatting to someone, so we took our medal from the table then she turn around and told us she will give them to us... err, right. We were not alone at picking up medals ourselves. Shocking. I would say not all volunteers were like that, some of them were quite friendly and helpful.

I was a little concerned when I found this was 13 laps of a 1 mile course but it worked very well, the track is purpose-built and undulating enough to make you work at it without it being too tough. I may have been the oldest competitor but was definitely nowhere near the back, well pleased with my time. I am definitely up for doing this one again.

I was a little put-off when I found it was going to be 13 laps of a 1 mile course but it worked really well, the track is purpose-built and just undulating enough to make it interesting and make you work at it. Very well organised. I may have been the oldest competitor but definitely wasn't anywhere near the back, well pleased with my time I would definitely do this one again.

I thought that for a lap race this was good. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I had questions before the race which were answered very promptly. Ive personally discovered that lap racing is not for me but it was nice to see people of different ages and levels all getting to run together. The atmosphere was friendly and non judgemental

Really well organised, friendly staff, free parking for up to 4 hours, 1 mile lap course, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Firstly I achieved several PBs running this course especially a half marathon PB. Everything was very well organised apart from a couple of things. Collecting belongings after the race took far too long, a single file line formed which moved far too slowly. More than one toilet near the start of the race would of been nice as well. The standout improvement needed though is the atmosphere! More music or people cheering dotted around the course would make for a richer experience. However, the positives outweigh the negatives. Well sign posted, easy to register, drop things off, good course, one water station, goodies afterwards, nice medal, excellent results breakdown online. I will be returning for at least another run and possibly a cycle as well. Matt Turner

I thoroughly enjoyed the race, a relaxed atmosphere and a good range of abilities. My only changes would be for the organisers to advise people who walk the race to move to the outside of the track, as there are a lot of corners so running along the insides of the curves saves a fair bit of distance overall, which becomes tricky with people walking 2-3 abreast along the apex of the bends. If you are running with a fitness tracker changes your units to miles to help track the laps better (its a mile per lap). The refreshments available afterwards were top notch.

Very well organised event. 1 mile course - I have done it a few times. Really good marathon/half marathon training course. Its hilly, windy and challenge you mentally. Even that it not a PB course, I have done a half marathon PB in 2018. Definite will recommend this race - for training but also for racing. I will be back in February.

Was good fun. Just a shame the chip system malfunctioned - apparently I ran the 7th mile in 38 seconds...

Laps were a challenge for me and each mile was far from flat but plenty of communication from organizer and well set up for participants made for an overall good impression.
