i ordered the event t-shirt and picked my own colour, only to find out on the day that they just offered this ugly burgundy colour. the course was okay, it was the weather that made it hard because half of the lap was unshaded. the organisation could have been better, as the water station ran out of water for the final lap which was not good as a couple of people already suffered heatstroke (including my running partner) and had to stop running. there was lack of marshals especially on the unshaded part to look after anyone if they got injured/ fainted due to heatstroke/ etc.

Very much enjoyed the event, great fun. My only feedback might be that the water stations are too close to each other on the course.

1st ever half marathon. Really enjoyed the experience, although could have been cooler ( obviously no one’s fault)

The water stations weren’t prepared for the hot weather which means that runners needed to drink hot water that had been sitting out in the sun. This is not acceptable.

Very hot race with multiple by people going down due to heat injuries. Even through the event ha dtwo water station, I believe a third would be helpful down the long straight as it was all in direct sun light. Apart from hat amazing

Excellent event. only thing to improve is it would be good if the water stations were spread out evenly around the course. Thanks for a fantastic event

As it was the weather of 30 degrees. There was two water station, and they were running out of water. No portable toilets then the ones at the start. Not a great run in that weather. Needs a lot of improvement.

The run fell on the hottest day of the year which, alongside the hills, made this the hardest half marathon I have run. Nonetheless, once I passed that finish line the runners high really kicked in! The event was well signposted and parking on site was easy and accessible. The runners village consisted of three very small stalls and there was a consistent long queue for the toilets. Sufficient water stations were spread out along the course which on a sunny day was vital to being able to complete the course. First aid was also available, which again due to the weather was necessary. Only complaint is people were walking along/across the course, especially at the finish line, and I felt the marshals should have stepped in here to ask people to move as they were getting in the way of runners.

The hills were really intense! Sign in was good as was the warm up/finish line at the end. Was disappointed that there was no water left at the halfway point on the last lap (especially on such an extremely hot day).
