Route information

This is a mixed-terrain route, taking place on the dirt tracks, pathways and grassy areas of Richmond Park. Home to 630 Red and Fallow deer, Richmond Park provides the perfect setting for those wanting to submerse themselves in nature for a couple of hours.

Runners will start from Sheen Gate, heading out along the Tamsin Trail and Sawyers Hill to loop back to Sheen Gate for the next lap.

Course marshals will be stationed throughout the course to help guide runners, as well as cheer them on their way. The route will also be clearly way-marked with signs, arrows and distance markers.

Parking

There is a car parking available on site, however please be aware that spaces are limited and this car park is open to the public.

By Public Transport

Richmond Train station is approximately a 30-40 minute walk away from Sheen Gate, while Mortlake Station is around 20 minutes away. If using public transport please ensure you leave ample time to allow for any delays.

Registration

The event village and registration will be in Richmond Park at Sheen Gate.

Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time in order to complete the registration process and warm up.

Race Pack

Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.

Age Restrictions

This event is open to runners aged 17 and over.

Refreshments

There will be water stations at regular intervals around the course at the start/finish point (where the course laps). There will also be flapjacks and bananas waiting at the finish line for all finishers.

Toilets

Toilets are available at Richmond Park at the Sheen Gate entrance. If you think you're going to be using the loos then please give yourself plenty of time.

Headphones

It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. There will also be pedestrians on the paths you'll be running who you'll need to be aware of.
