Feedback:Great race, would be good to attract a higher standard of runner, but the overall inclusiveness for all abilities is important. Please please cut down on plastic usage - races are guilty of lots of plastic wastage. Use papers cups for water, not plastic bottles. Also a lot of experienced runners arent bothered about medals so maybe include as an optional additional charge.

Have run this race previously and its a fantastic one to do as your first 10k . Beautiful scenery and some hills (but they are pretty small !) , lovely atmosphere with warm and friendly staff and stewards . Weather can be unpredictable as its relatively exposed so make sure you have the right clothing for the weather .

over all a good course and well organised race, collecting numbers on the day can always cause abit of mayhem especially with a 9am start. i did have to leave the queue to find out what my race number was as i hadnt checked before linking up assuming that with collection in alphabetical order my name would have been enough. (wasnt the end of the world though.)maybe a 9:30 or 10am start would have helped a little but then selfishly i had a 45 min drive so this owuld have offered me a little more time in the morning.the small loop at the start to was okay although as a front runner i was overtaking some of the slower runners on a narrow path, this meant that i wasn't able to overtake someone around me at within the that stretch however this didn't impact the over all result.the course was well marshaled and they were all very friendly and supportive on route.atmosphere i think is hard to create on course in that kind of location as there many out there but they guys and girls out there were great.general facility were good an hosted in a good locationI think that the weather specifically the wind did make things difficult on the day for organizers. all in all i would personally recommend this race to someone looking for a 10K PB as the course is reasonably fast and very little in the way of hills.
