Route information
The course will be on the roads and paths within the park, passing by the Victoria Park bandstand and through the Pools Playground.
This is a looped race and the number of laps varies depending on which race you have entered:
Half Marathon – 6.5 laps
10km – 3 laps
5k – 1.5 laps
10km – 3 laps
5k – 1.5 laps
There will be distance markers at every mile and course marshals stationed throughout the course to guide you.

Bow Road and Mile End are the nearest underground stations, both of which are around a 25 minute walk to St Marks Gate.
By Train
Hackney Wick overground station is around a 10 minute walk away.
By Car
There is limited car parking available near Victoria Park so using public transport is to get to this location is strongly advised.
Event day logistics
09:30 Half Marathon starts 10:00 10k starts 10:15 5k starts
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your race to ensure you have plenty of time to complete the registration process. Further information will be sent out to those registered closer to the time.
Race Pack
Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.
Age Requirements
- 5k - 11 and older
- 10k - 15 and older
- Half Marathon - 17 and older
Bag Drop
There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.
Refreshments
There will be water stations at the 5k point of the race and at the finish where post-race goodies will be waiting for finishers.
Headphones
It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. There will also be pedestrians on the paths you'll be running who you'll need to be aware of.

Victoria Park is an ideal location for spectators looking to support their friends and family. Given the looped nature of the route, you will be able to get numerous glimpses of the runners and help contribute to the incredible atmosphere of the day.
