Wimbledon Common Half Marathon – June route

This is a mixed terrain race across a variety of dirt tracks, grass, and well-used pathways. Initially the course is relatively hilly, however it flattens out toward the middle and the last stretch is downhill.

This is a lapped race, with runners completing it twice. The park will remain open to the public and runners must be aware of pedestrians throughout.

The course will have marshals at all major turnings during the route and distances will be clearly marked.

Great course - 2 laps on a (slightly hilly) trail route around the Common. Chilled atmosphere and well organised. Could do with some food at aid stations and organisers could consider how to reduce the number of plastic water bottles used.

This is an awesome event. Great buzz at the start and very well organised (I have never had to spend so little time in the toilet queue!). The course is quite undulating so be prepared for a few sneaky hills, but the trails are beautiful and it didn’t feel like we were in London! Great marshalling all around the course and plenty of water. Would very highly recommend!
