Route information
This event takes runners around the iconic grounds of London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in a not only flat, but inspiring route. This event is perfect to set a PB.
The route is 2.5km long and therefore 5k runners will complete it twice with 10km participants doing it four times.

Tube/Train: The closest train stations are Statford or Stratford International, which are a 13 and 12 minute walk to the park respectively. Alternatively, you can get the overground to Hackney Wick which is around a 10 minute walk to the park.
Bus: Regular buses services run from Central London into Stratford City bus station.
Car: There is paid parking available in the Westfield Stratford City.

Cut Off Times:
10k Wave 1: 55 minutes
10k Wave 2: 90 minutes
5k Wave 1: 25 minutes
5k Wave 2: 45 minutes
To avoid congestion and minimise overtaking, participants will be set off in start waves based on their estimated finish times.
Race packs will be sent in advance where possible and emails will be sent communicating instructions in the lead up to the event.

Spectator Info
Spectators are strongly encouraged to come along and recreate the atmosphere of the London 2012 games.
Given the nature of the course you can catch numerous glimpses of the runners in their glorious Olympic backdrop.
Is there baggage storage on-site?
Due to the current situation, there will not be a formal bag drop at the Olympic park 5k & 10k - January.

Race results will be published on www.runthrough.co.uk after the event.

Really enjoyed it! I was happy to finish it and felt very comfortable running the course. It was very well organised!

It was my first ever 10k run. I found 4 laps of the same route boring. I was not sure how it all worked and at the end no one told me anything. I did not know there was cookies, bananas etc. I just happened to stumble across them. Staff at the counters were chatting to themselves and did not seem interested to help. Found a huge environmental wast of water and plastic bottles being wasted. Could do so much better.

Super fun course in the heart of the olympic park. Takes in some greenery and some nice stretches canalside. A deceptively challenging climb towards the end of the laps to watch out for thoughLike every runthrough event I've attended, it's well organised, lots of fun and a really positive atmosphere

Really well organised race from RunThroughUK. All information was sent through by email prior to event. A great 3 lap course, which didn't seem too repetetive, and lots of support from the marshals around the course. Fab medal, with banana, flapjack and a 1 litre bottle of water for finishers.

Great event, I really enjoyed it! Loved the marshals with tambourines giving lots of encouragement!

Good event. Well organised, instructions were clear and easy to understand.Course was well signposted although original email said would be 4 laps and on the day ended up being 3. Was explained clearly though. Paths little bit narrow at the start with everyone bunched up but fine as race went on. Would definitely run with RunThrough again, medal was good!
