It was a well organised event but I wasn't a fan of the double loop route and the atmosphere could have been a bit better at the beginning and the end.

Not being allowed to wear headphones was truly ridiculous. No official time because I wanted to listen to music over a 21km course?! Crazy! I can't afford to buy bone conducting heaphones!

Grass part of the course was hard especially over the horrible grid. More marahalls needed along the course to warn public.

Dangerous footing at beginning and end of race, no warm up, poor safety on tow path with dogs and prams, headphones banned

Nice organisers; and picking up the numbers on the day worked fine. Long queues for the female toilets and ran out of soap which I felt was bad.

The Marshalls on the day were fantastic in cheering you on whilst running, especially towards the end of the race I thought they were brilliant, it was very cold and was much appreciated that they took the time out their day to help out

The pebble in the sports center lawn was awful. Apart from that I enjoyed the course very much.

Really good experience overall! Would just point out that the course at the start and finish was not very good terrain (triangle shaped holes in the track where grass hadn't grown through yet, so easy to twist ankles, and hard to push off)
