The course was not closed, which caused a problem with other pavement users. None of the stewards did a good job, apart from the two with water just before Hammersmith Bridge. All the other stewards did not seem interested, one was even on the phone (the steward by the Crabtree) and did nothing. It also caused me and others to have difficult situations with lots of pedestrians. There should be more stewards to help handle other pavement users and help. I believe it stated on the route that there would be water stations every 3 miles, however this was not enough for the weather. People got very dehydrated. Furthermore it would have been useful to have more mileage signs to give an idea of how long there was left in the event.

This is the 2nd most beautiful Half Marathon after the Kew Gardens half in London in terms of beauty of the route. It is also a good half marathon for beginners because apart from the bridge crossing almost all other parts of the route are flat. The event was well organised and when I did it (April 2022) it was quite popular so expect large crowds on the day.

It was a good run but there were perhaps fewer marshals than there might have been. The course had some quirks but over all not bad. The warm up person did not make it but a Fulham Running Club guy stepped up - very noble but I think his stretches were a bit crazy on a cold morning before a half!!

It was a great run. The only thing that felt like it was missing was a snack for the end of the run - but not a big issue at all.

Not a bad half marathon. Course is quite scenic around the Thames but around Putney Bridge it was very busy with pedestrians. Marshalling wasn’t great and there was some confusion at the end of the second lap of which direction to go, no Marshall present. It’s a bit expensive at £34.99 for just a medal, fairly poor goody bag (which wasn’t even in a bag), and a non closed road event. Despite this I quite enjoyed the run and may consider doing it again in the future.

A nice scenic course! A shame it was two laps of the same but that's not so bad. I was a little confused by the information provided, however. The info said there would be water stations every 3 miles but I only saw two stations which was tough in the heat! Atmosphere was good but not really too sure what to expect as it was my first one!

It was a great day. The course was a little windy in place, especially the loop at the end in the park, but overall lovely scenery. Needed at least one more water station though – especially on one of the hotter days of the year!

loved the atmosphere and organisation was great but the course included a lot of looping around grassland which wasn't as great and we went over 4 bridges which meant a bit too much uphill for me!!

The 2 laps was mentally difficult but the mix of terrain was very good.

Hello, Just to let you know that they strongly advise against headphones – the nature of the event means that you need to be aware of your surroundings and be able to hear marshals instructions. Have a good race!
