I entered the Fulham and Putney half due to its location by the river and picturesque views I was not disappointed in any way the run was very friendly, organised well and being older than most there I was made so welcome by both competitors and organisers . Would recommend to any other fellow runners

Don’t normally like 2 lap half marathons but this was enjoyable running along the Thames. Was well organised and there was a great atmosphere amongst all the competitors looking forward to doing it again.

Really lovely route across the Thames, great atmosphere, great people involved. Only shame was the final mile was zig zagging a football pitch which was quite soul crushing, not the big final push I was hoping for.

My wife and I ran the race while on holiday from America. We found it to be a fun course, and all of the people we interacted with were great.

Great run with amazing views all around, good atmosphere. Two things to improve: more toilets and avoid the zigzag starting and finish, please!

Nice local race along the Thames. Overall positive experience but I would improve the following: more toilets available pre-race (I couldn't do a warm up run because of the long queue) and the zig-zag a the start and end of the race could have been avoided.

Really lovely day, great weather and nice running along the river. Could have been horrid if the weather was bad- especially on the grassy/muddy sections on putney heath. Not enough toilets before the race- everyone needed their pre-race nervous poo and there were only 3 cubicles in the gents! Need to put on some porta-loos. Running through the zig zag bit at the start and finish was frustrating when there was a whole great big field next to us we could have run round instead!Running on the pavement across Putney bridge and up to Craven Cottage got a bit too busy dodging pedestrians on the second lap.

It's a great race, lovely route and super well organised. This was my second time completing the run. My critique is the finish line. I think it would be much better if you didn't have to do the zig, zag on the grass to get to the finish line, is it possible to make the start longer to avoid this at the end. When you turn off the river bank into the sports centre you just want to get over the line at this point and all of the zig zagging is a little annoying and slows down speed. Other than it's a fantastic day out and I look forward to doing it again.

Really enjoyed this race. The organisation was spot on and the marshals were brilliant. The only negative was that the last 750 meters were run in a number of zig zags so when you were tired at the end of the race you had to keep slowing down to double back on yourself.

On the whole I thought this was a great event. However I think it would be better to have small plastic bottles of water on the course instead of cups. The course layout at the start / finish could have been better. I think most people would have preferred not to have to zig zig in the last km. Fun race though....would do it again!

I loved the event, i thought it was really well organised and really well marshalled. I was worried when i found out that the route wasn't closed and that other runners and pedestrians would get in the way but this was not a problem at all! there weren't too many runners which was really refreshing but still enough runners that you feel like you are part of a race. I would definitely do again and 100% recommend!!
