    Did the 10k in 2018

The run was well organised and followed a scenic flat route, ideal for a PB which I managed to achieve that day. Thank you for arranging this super run!

Absolutely brilliant. Beautiful sunny crisp day, scenic route, great atmosphere and a PB. Couldnt have wished for a better first 10k race/event.

The directions for the event were confusing. When you don't know the area it is important to include some landmark so you know you are in the right place. Although I got to Richmond station at 8:20, it took me 35' to find the venue. When at the venue, there were not enough toilets for the day and the queue was soooooooooooooo long I almost missed the start of the race.Lastly, I know it is supposed to be a fun day but the toast master needs to review his repertoire. Most boring. Apart from that I enjoyed the actual race and manage to get 1st place in my age category for which I had to go to the organiser to get the trophy as apparently the toast master did not get the result. I was not that slow!!!

As I've run it before there were no surprises. The staggered starts were a bit overdone except for the fast runners, as big gaps developed towards the back. One runner said that the marshals were not very alert but I did not notice anything amiss.
