On the whole a great race, but the signage around the finish line wasn’t overly clear. You had to loop behind the line before finishing, took lots of people by surprise after their sprint finish was a couple 100m short of the line.

Good race. Small enough to have that "homemade" feel and prevent roads/trails from being too busy. Refill stations and snacks at the end were sufficient. Signage was clear enough. Ideally I would have preferred not doing laps but I understand how hard it is in London !

Great event - small enough to be friendly and big enough to feel part of something. Richmond Park is great venue too, which helps the overall vibe. All that and a PB can't be bad!
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

One of the best organised races. Good atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. There is lots of post race free drinks and food available.

Ran as training for London marathon. Great course next to the Thames. Easy access to start near station. Good organisation. Well done
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

Great run, beautiful route, friendly atmosphere. Perfect for anyone thinking about running their first half.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

I live in Stoke Newington, so it takes a lot for me to travel to Richmond on a Sunday morning, but this event was well worth it. Seeing Richmond wake-up whilst we ran alongside the river in the morning sunshine was amazing. The course itself was a mix of fields, pathways, pavements, and a few puddles to jump. As we finished it was great to see a good size crowd cheering everyone on and the organizers made it easy for people to pick-up their official finish time.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

It was a great route along the Thames and a nice way to do my first half marathon! Everything was organised well and the course was well marshalled.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

Very well organised race. The course is flat making it speedy and enjoyable, especially the parts along the river. It could have done with more water stations, but overall it was a very pleasant event.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

The loops at the end were really disheartening and could have been done at the start to leave a straight finish at the end. There was a zig zag and then a loop just as you thought you had got to the end! It was really disheartening for me.
