Event summary

Entrants can choose how many loops of the 3.3 mile course they take on within the 6 hour time limit - be it 5k or 60k. Runners will be treated to excellently maintained pathways - come down to this highly regarded event for a chance to see just how far you can go.

Your organiser

The majority of our events are challenge events - multi-lap races with a time limit rather than a set distance. This means people can run all different distances on the same day, making for a great atmosphere. Lapped events can get some negative feedback but our laps are around beautiful locations. We avoid out and back laps and coming back to the wonderful aid station (full of your requests) can be a good motivator. Whether it's your A race, you need to do some long training runs, you have a 100-mile ultra in a few weeks or you want to hammer out a quick 10k, our races allow everyone to get involved together. We’re also expanding our mid-week evening 10K series too. Keep an eye out for updates on these as we are continually adding more. Expect the same care and attention and in the same great locations!

Route description

This 6 hour event enables all ability of runner to join in the fun. Walk, run, hike as many laps of the 5k course in 6 hours.

You can run one lap in 20 minutes, pick up your medal, flapjack and beer and go home! Alternatively you can head out on your 15th lap at 14:55 and finish in 6hr30 having covered over 50 miles! It’s completely up to you.

The race takes place on well kept, mainly crushed rock pathways. Given the race location, some paths are a little narrower and trickier to negotiate if wet, but usually very manageable. The organiser always publishes course photos close to event day to aid entrants with kit choices on the day.
