Route information
Salcey Forest is an old, medieval hunting ground that attracted nobility from far and wide. Today, it is the setting of a gorgeous half marathon and 10k that attracts runners of all abilities. The 160 hectares is made of deep forest trails and footpaths, showcasing much of Northamptonshire's famous countryside.
The route takes a 10k lap, with Half Marathon runners doing 2 laps plus a small extension to make up the distance. The gently undulating course along the tracks and trails of Salcey Forest is perfect for anyone aiming to complete their first trail Half Marathon.
