The Salomon Trail Running Festival is returning to iconic Box Hill for another year.We have set our sights high, and this years’ event will be bigger and better than before! With trail running workshops and talks, timed races, demo pools and specialist Salomon advice throughout the day and a relaxed evening with live music and a bar, there's something for everyone. Our festivals are the perfect opportunity to get involved in the trail running community, enjoy the freedom nature offers us and find your local trails. It's time to play.

With trail running practical workshops and talks, guided runs, product demo pools and specialist Salomon advice throughout the day there's something for everyone.
After the 10km and 20km timed runs the day will wind down into a relaxed evening with live music and a bar. Our festivals are the perfect opportunity to get involved in the trail running community, enjoy the freedom nature offers us and find your local trails.

- Talks on trail running techniques, where to run, communities, kit, nutrition and fitness
- Yoga sessions
- A timed run with a choice of 10km starting at 5:30pm or 20 km starting at 4:30pm (please note timings could be subject to change)
- A Mini Trail: a fun shorter timed race for children under 14
- Demo pool of trail running kit: an opportunity to trial Salomon shoes, hydration packs and Suunto watches
- Guided trail runs with a Salomon athlete a choice of 5km, 10 km or 20 km
- Option to purchase a 50km ultra run ticket
- Food and drink vendors on site
- Outdoor cinema and chill out area
- Evening bar and live band

Get full directionsThe festival village is located at: Old Reigate Road, Brockham, Dorking, RH4 1NS.
For your sat nav, use RH4 1NS to find directions to the festival village. There is free parking available on the festival site and will be signposted.
To get here by bus, different bus operators stop at Watermill Inn, Castle Gardens and Brockham Lane stops, which are a 10 – 15 minute walk from the festival village.
The nearest train stations to the festival village are Dorking and Betchworth

The Salomon Trail Running Festivals are returning for 2019 and will be held in three specially selected locations across the UK; Edale in the Peak District, Pentland Hills in Edinburgh and Box Hill near London. Whether you are a seasoned road runner or eager to start running, these activity-filled days will help you on your trail running journey. With trail running practical workshops and talks, guided runs, product demo pools and specialist Salomon advice throughout the day there’s something for everyone. After the day’s activities, in Edinburgh and Box Hill there will be live music either at our festival site or a nearby venue. Our festivals are the perfect opportunity to get involved in the trail running community, enjoy the freedom nature offers us and find your local trails.
Spectator Info
We welcome all supporters. At each festival there will be an event village where people can find out more about trail running, enjoy food or drink and watch the participants run or get involved in a workshop. Your supporters can enter the festival free of charge.
