Swim cancelled due to inclement weather but organisers managed to keep it going - as an alternative could’ve been postponed for the next day when weather was much better. Great atmosphere nonetheless. Definitely worth it with decent weather!

Unfortunately weather was too stormy fort the swim and they adjusted course so didn’t do expected distances. That was all well organised but I would say the course is a bit uninspiring and was glad I didn’t need to do the laps of it.

The bike ride was scary in these conditions, especially being a first timer at a triathlon event. Being prepared for the course to change at short notice due to weather conditions and safety was good to know in advance.

The race organiser in difficult weather conditions kept the event live and provided a great race while keeping everyone safe. Lots of smiling faces and good communication from the event organiser

The call not to do the swim / dash could have been made much earlier, especially before everyone got into wetsuits, only to have to get out of them, making them covered in sand and needing a wash later on. It was pretty obvious that the swim / dash was not going to happen. That should have been decided a good 30-40 minutes before the start, not when everyone is on the beach ready to go. Apart from that it was really well organised and a good event despite the dreadful weather.

The weather conditions were dreadful, high winds and rain. The swim had to be cancelled but they went ahead with the super sprint, making it a duathalon. Challenging having to run on soft sand in parts of the course but everyone was in high spirits and it was fun despite the conditions.

Sensation. Shame about the rough seas and cancellation of swim. But it couldn’t be helped. A great day the staff were incredible
