Fabulous race because the sun shone, the sea was calm and clear and the bike and run course are not busy. Transition is too rammed so tricky to manoeuvre in there

Race director was brilliant, dropped down to super sprint on the day due to injury, all done in an easy, efficient and friendly manner. Only minor gripe were the mass swim start and trying to fight across people who were doing 2 laps to try and get back to the beach, a staggered start would of been easier and the finish line was a bit of an anticlimax, ran around the corner and didn’t realise I’d actually finished, just someone removing ankle timing chip. A loud speaker with announcer or music would of been nice. Other than that great event, the cycle marshals near the start and finish did a great job in really challenging circumstances, lots of traffic around, but they remained calm and direct us and the cars well. I’m sure we’ll do the event again in the future.

The organisers did an amazing job on top of the normal high standards, due to the hot weather and beach goers they had even more challenges to overcome but you wouldn’t have known it such a great morning competition, another great VOTWO event

Swim was very congested with two races starting at the same time. And short distance to first buoy . Cycle dangerous coming back down hill due to car convention ?? Prob not expected. Not clear at turnaround on the run - went to finish instead of round - need a Marshall there. Otherwise really good course !

I loved this triathlon, great atmosphere, people and course. The only thing I would say was that it would be good to have more stewards on the roundabout and make sure that they're wearing flourescent. There were so many cars going in all directions and I couldn't see a steward for directions through the cars it was very chaotic and almost dangerous! Apart from that it was brilliant!
