Following the traditional Santa Parade from Paternoster Square to the start line at Millennium Bridge, this festive 5k will start crossing over the Thames and enjoying world-class views of Tower Bridge and the Shard.
From here, the route crosses Southwark Bridge to hug the north embankment running towards the Tower of London and London Bridge.
Next, runners will return through the city back over the bridge towards St Paul's Cathedral to the finish line on St Peter's Hill, completing an iconic loop of London's sights.
This 5k is the perfect run for new and experienced runners alike, as its mostly flat and run along roads. So run, walk, or jog this December and enjoy that Christmas feeling.
There will be runs on both the Wednesday and Thursday to ensure you don't miss out.

How to get there
Paternoster Sq., London EC4M, UKGet full directions
Paternoster Square is located just behind St Pauls Cathedral. Its recommended that entrants travel by public transport to the event site, which is easily accessible by tube, train, and bus.
Paternoster Square is a 2 minute walk from St Pauls tube station which is served by the central line. Mansion House station is also a short walk from the event site.
The City Thameslink station is also just a 6 minute walk from the square.

Entrants can collect their Santa suit from registration on the day between 8am and 7pm.
Runners must be over 8 years old to enter. All runners between 8 - 14 are free, but do not receive a Santa suit and must accompanied by an adult at all times.

Seeing hundreds of runners in Santa Suits can be fairly entertaining so feel free to come along and watch. Perhaps give a hero's welcome to a hoard of Father Christmases at the finish line on St Peter's Hill.
Can I run for charity?
Of course you can fundraise for any charity of your course, although this is optional. There will also be an official chosen charity for this race, which is yet to be confirmed.
Can I leave a bag at the check-in?
Sadly, no storage facilities are provided for baggage for safety reasons. Please do not leave your bags unattended at any time.
Will there be someone taking photos of the event?
Yes, the organisers have arranged for a photographer and a filmmaker to capture the event. If you'd rather not be included in these please let the organisers know on the day of the event.
Do I have to be part of a team to run at the Superhero in the City?
Not at all, runners can enter individually if they'd like.
